I hope everyone had a great (and safe) 4th of July weekend. The 4th of July is always a big weekend in our family. We all head on down to my uncle's farm for an all day picnic. It was a blast as a child growing up visiting there in the summers and playing with my cousins. Now it's great to see my own children share in that experience. This weekend was full of good food, water balloon battles, trampoline fun, plenty of rocks and dirt for the kids, and, of course, fireworks! Throw in some homemade ice cream and birthday cake for my brother's birthday, which is also the 4th and you have one great holiday! Here are some shot I captured this weekend...
